We are honored to receive the visit of Professor Xiang Zhang, President and Vice-Chancellor of the University and Hong Kong (HKU), and Professor CS Lau, Dean of the LKS Faculty of Medicine (HKUMed) to give an overview of C2i’s activities and achievements.
Managing Director Professor Leo Poon, together with Dr Michael Chan and Dr Tommy Lam, introduced C2i’s research approaches using novel technology platforms for biomarker discovery and the development of new vaccine and therapeutic strategies.
C2i works very closely with HKU and HKUMed to adopt innovative strategies to confront and mitigate the impact of emerging infectious diseases and transform Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area into a global hub of knowledge and research.
