Centre for Immunology & Infection (C2i) uses novel technology platforms for biomarker discovery and the development of new vaccine and therapeutic strategies.


It is the fruit of a long-standing partnership of more than 20 years between the LKS Faculty of Medicine of the University of Hong Kong (HKUMed) and the Institut Pasteur, Paris, two major international leaders combining their expertise to establish this centre of excellence.


C2i aims to establish a novel technology platform for biomarker discovery and development of new vaccine and therapeutic strategies. C2i addresses major unmet global and local public health needs with excellent potential for commercial exploitation.


Assistant Business Development Manager (Part-time) (Ref.: C2i103-RP3)

Applications are invited for the position of Assistant Business Development Manager (Part-time) (Ref.: C2i103-RP3), to commence as soon as possible, on a one or two-year contract basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and mutual agreement.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Science or other related disciplines

  • 3-4 years of solid experience in business development; prior experience in life science industry knowledge is an advantage

  • Target-driven, self-motivated, detail-minded, and work independently

  • Well organized, presentable, strong sense of responsibility, good team player and able to work under pressure

  • Good command of English and Chinese

  • Flexibility to travel frequently

  • Respond and work beyond business hours

  • Immediately available is preferred


Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the team on business planning to drive company development

  • Responsible for developing a new market and promoting the company's products in Hong Kong, Mainland and Overseas

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies and programs for channel partners

  • Formulate development plan/strategies across various channels

  • Prepare business plan, business proposal, marketing materials, presentation deck etc. and present to stakeholders

  • Participate in seminars, exhibitions, PR events and media activities to promote the company and its products

  • Prepare tender specifications, funding applications and collaboration agreements etc.

  • Report progress update on a regular basis

  • Meet KPI and targets set by supervisor/Chief Operating Officer

  • Undertake any other projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor/Chief Operating Officer
